Materials and Tools 

Yarn: 1 or more colors. 
I used COTTON 8 (100% bomull, mercerised from Manflower) in light pink, cream and brown.  
Change of colors are only advices, you can choose your own color patterns. 
 Crochet hook in accordance with the yarn you use. 
I used hook 2.50 mm. 
 Stuffing: I use polyester wool and a chopstick to stuff the doll. 
 Tapestry needle, scissors.  
 Stitch marker.  
I used thin black thread. 
 
 Black embroidery thread for the eyelashes. 
 Pacifier clip 
 Wooden beads: 15.0mm, 18.0mm and 25.0mm 
 Darning needle 
 Elastic (about 40 cm) 

Abbreviations 

mr = Magic ring 
ch = Chain  
dc = Double crochet 
st = Stitch 
slst = Slip stitch  
sc = Single crochet  
 () = Parentheses are used for repeated patterns of stitches, example: (2 sc, inc) x3 means repeat 
3 times (2 single crochet and one increase).  
inc = 2 sc in the same stitch  
dec = sc 2 together but working in the front loops only 

This pattern is written in US terminology and worked in spiral unless otherwise stated.  
Bear’s head is crocheted as one piece from top to bottom. Other parts are made separately. 


“Pacifier necklace” 

HEAD 

Use the 2.50 mm hook. 
1- 6 crochet chains (6)
2- inc on the 2nd ch from the hook, 3 sc, 3 sc on the last chain, turn and work on the other side of the foundation chains: 4 sc  (12)
3- 2 inc, 3 sc, 3 inc, 3 sc, 1 inc (18)
4- (1 sc, 1 inc) x2, 3 sc, (1 sc, 1 inc) x3, 3 sc, 1inc (24)

Crochet 1 sc more, after round 19 , then cut the yarn leaving a long tail to close the head


How to finish:  

Using the long tail of yarn, start from second loop. Sew the opening through the front loops by 
going across each stitch . 




 MUZZLE

If you would like to have more deeply muzzle, crochet the round 5 

How to Invisible Fasten 

 Using a needle, insert it in both loops of the second stitch after the last stitch . 
Then, insert it only in the back loop of the last stitch .
 Secure the yarn and use the remaining yarn tail for sewing.


EARS

1-6 sc in magic ring (6)
2-(1 inc) x6 (12)
3-4-12 sc around (12)

Assembling:

Place the muzzle between rounds 12 and 16 of head .
 Stuff it firmly and sew it around the head .



Sew the ears on each side of head . 
- Embroider the eyes and nose using the black thin thread. 




 

BEADS

Stuff the bead firmly.
Make the loop and insert it in the clip .
Take out the elastic through the loop  to fix the clip.
Then use the needle, put it through the wooden balls and beads .

Crochet 2 sc more, after round 26 to be in the corner of head . Cut the yarn leaving a long tail.

Using the long tail of yarn, start from second loop. Sew the opening through the front loops by going across each stitch . 



MUZZLE

Fasten off the muzzle in the same way as small. Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for sewing.

COLLAR

●Tip: the amount of chains for the collar may vary depending on the yarn and width of sewn 
head to ring. (I only needed 26 chains when I made my bear’s collar). 
Round 1: crochet 26 chains 
Round 2: in the second chain from the hook, 25 sc.  
Round 3: turn your working: 2 starting chains (the 1st dc of the round will be 2chs) + 1 ch+ 1 dc 
in first stitch, 1 dc in next stitch, repeat it 13 times. 
Round 4: turn your crocheting, 5 dc in chain of previous round, 1 sc in dc, repeat it 13 times. 
You should have 13 shell stitches.
